Materials
Free-flowing, near-uniform fine grains at roughly 1.4-1.6 t/m3 that pour readily but abrade seams and coat the fabric with fines. A coated or laminated fabric with dust-tight seams and a sealing top skirt is the usual construction.
Applications and case studies grouped by the material being packed, so one material view holds both the applications it is packed for and the cases where it has been used.
Case Study
A GCC building-materials distributor was losing pallets in transit because tubular bags bulged and would not stack. We replaced the construction rather than the fabric weight: a U-panel body with a coated fabric and a liner. The production batch has passed final inspection and shipped; repeat-order performance is not yet proven.
Application
Bulk bags used inside ports, warehouses and transhipment sheds, where the bag has to survive a long chain of handlers, stacking in a shed and a container loading plan that was fixed weeks earlier.
Application
A mineral processor bagging dried silica sand into 1.0-1.5 t lots must keep every bag inside the crane and fork-truck limit while the sand stays dry and free-flowing through a sea leg and empties without leaving a heel.
