Guides and technical notes on FIBC construction, materials, testing and logistics. Each article states what it covers, who wrote and reviewed it, what QINFENG has seen first-hand and which sources stand behind it.
Logistics Alerts
As of 18 September 2026, sailings from North China to Northern Europe are running about 5 to 8 days behind proforma and rollovers are concentrated in the last week of each month. Allow 7 to 10 extra days on the arrival date for FIBC orders not yet loaded.
FAQs
A custom FIBC sample typically takes 7 to 10 working days for a bag in a fabric we already run, and 2 to 4 weeks for a fully custom build, plus courier time. Drawing approval, not sewing, is usually what decides the date.
Technical Guides
GSM is the mass of the woven polypropylene fabric and tracks the strength of the bag body; coating is a separate polymer layer that closes the gaps between tapes. Read the two as separate numbers, because coating weight is where quotes at the same nominal GSM actually differ.
Buying Guides
Liner choice follows the product: moisture sensitivity, dust, oil or fat content and fill temperature set the film type, thickness, fit and closure. The liner is the part of the FIBC that most often decides whether a load arrives in specification.
Buying Guides
A 5:1 bag is designed for one fill, one lift and one discharge; a 6:1 bag is designed to be lifted again. The ratio fixes the proof load and, at 6:1, adds cyclic and stacking tests — it is a design type, not a durability score.
Technical Guides
A food-grade FIBC is one built on a controlled route: virgin resin with no regrind, a segregated liner and sewing process, and a documented chain of custody. The grade belongs to the production method, not to the bag's label.
