Why use a Dumpster Bag
A dumpster bag (also known as a skip bag in some markets) offers a flexible alternative to traditional metal dumpsters. On smaller jobs a woven bag does the work of a metal skip. It arrives folded flat, is set in position by hand, and leaves on the collection vehicle with the load inside instead of coming back empty, and no steel container stands waiting between collections. An empty bag is light enough to be carried and placed by hand where a lorry cannot go; once it is full, the collection point still has to be one the lifting equipment can reach, because a loaded bag is lifted away rather than tipped. That is why a bag can work out cheaper than the hire it replaces, given how collection is arranged, and why collection can spread across a site, a village or a run of shops.

Typical working range is 1,000-1,500 kg SWL with a reinforced base and four lifting points. The rating assumes the load is evenly distributed and the bag is lifted on all intended points.

The support frame holds the empty bag open; the side fixing belts hold the body in place. They do two different jobs, and neither is a lifting point — the load hangs on the lifting loops or the stevedore strap.
Samples
Test the bag with your own waste before placing a production order. Check the fabric, lifting loops, reinforced base and overall performance under your actual working conditions.
What we send
Yes, and we would rather you tested than guessed. On a standard specification one or two bags go out free of charge — enough for a trial fill with your own waste. On a non-standard size the sample cost is confirmed separately, and the courier is paid by you. The bag is filled and lifted the way your site will use it.
No stock samples are kept. A sample is made when you request it: in one of the four stock fabric colours — white, black, blue or green — the sample making time is 5–8 days. Any other colour is woven on the same line, and to the same drawing, as the production run, so what you test is what ships; allow for that making time in your schedule.
It runs from receipt of the prepayment. The sample and the approved drawing are settled first, so the clock starts on a specification that has been released, not on the enquiry.

In-house checks cover fabric weight, base reinforcement pattern, loop stitch counts, and filled dimensions. Third-party testing is arranged on request and quoted separately.
Custom options
Size, fabric weight, colour and print, lifting points, the top and the packing are agreed on the order. The three below are the ones that change how the bag handles on site.

Send the colour reference or a physical swatch with the enquiry and the quote is built around it.
Lifting
Loop spacing and strap length are set on the drawing you approve before weaving.
Packing
Packing is set with the shipping route and how the bags are handed out on site.

Where a dumpster bag is used
A heavy-duty open-top bag for construction, yard and mixed waste, lifted on four corner loops or a stevedore strap. It is built for abrasion and puncture, not for dust control.

Hedge trimmings, grass, branches, spent compost and the soil out of a border. Light but bulky, so the bag fills by volume long before it is near its rated weight — and an open top takes branches a wheelie bin refuses.

Offcuts, packaging, plasterboard, tiles, mortar and mixed site debris. Heavier fabric and a reinforced base take the edges.

House and garage clearances: furniture, appliances, bagged rubbish and the accumulated contents of a loft. Bags arrive flat, open where the load already is, and leave on the same truck that brought them.

Purchasing FAQ
Yes. The 3 yd³ bag is the size most of our customers order, built at 8 × 4 × 2.5 ft (244 × 122 × 76 cm). Send the bag you use now, or its drawing, and the quote is built on those dimensions.
White, black, green and blue are the standing colours. The fabric for them runs from 180–200 GSM.
2,000 bags. A custom shade is woven to order, so the run has to be large enough to justify a fabric lot in that colour.
Yes, and it is a build we have made many times. A tent-pole style internal frame holds the bag open while it is loaded, and side belts tie the body back to the support poles. Pole fitting, belt positions and how the poles are packed are all set on the drawing you approve.
Both are available. We recommend Velcro: a zip is the part that fails once bags are compressed for baling or handled roughly, whereas a Velcro closure has no teeth or slider to break.
Yes to both. Your logo is printed on the bag body on 4 sides in up to 3 colours, and bags can be packed individually — a poly bag with an instruction sheet, or a printed carton — for retail shelves or dealer stock.
Standard production usually takes 25–35 days after receipt of the deposit and final approval of the specifications and drawings. The actual schedule depends on order quantity and customization requirements.
Yes. We can provide in-house inspection records and arrange load testing upon request. Third-party testing can also be organized if required, with the testing scope and cost confirmed separately.
