Testing & Compliance

Where testing, food-contact and dangerous goods requirements apply to your bulk bag — and where they do not.

Testing and documentation requirements depend on what you pack, how the bag is handled, and which market it is sold into. This page explains where each requirement applies — and where it does not — so you can plan your compliance checks before an order rather than after arrival.

Where each requirement applies

  • Load and lifting testing — relevant for every bulk bag specification, and carried out for the specifications where it applies before shipment.
  • Food contact documentation — relevant when the bag is used for food, feed or pharma ingredients, and only for the materials actually used in that construction.
  • Dangerous goods testing — relevant when your product is regulated for transport, and issued against the specific bag design that was tested.
  • Static control — relevant where combustible dusts or solvents are present, and only for the anti-static construction specified.
  • Market requirements — chemical and material declarations apply where your market asks for them, for the materials in your bag.

How documents are issued

Certification and test reports are issued per specification. A report for one bag design does not automatically cover a different design, fabric weight or fitting set, so we confirm applicability with you instead of presenting every document as if it covered every product.

ISO certification is in place at the plant, and product test reports including UN and SGS documents are available for the specifications they apply to.

What to send us

Tell us the product, the load rating, the market you ship into and any regulatory requirement you have been given. We will confirm which tests and documents are relevant, and what we can provide before you place an order.
